REYTONS

With all the power of a runaway freight train, South Yorkshire’s turned-up-to-eleven indie juggernauts The Reytons are hit 2024 with a fierce right hook. Off the back of a huge UK tour, their debut outdoor headline announcement and a number one album in 2023, the ‘kids off the estate’ went for gold a second time by releasing third album ‘Ballad Of A Bystander’ in January 2024.
Despite the hum of wider music industry interest that followed the success of January 2023’s independently released ‘What’s Rock And Roll?’, the four-piece have chosen to stick to their DIY roots and dug in with their latest LP.
Revelling in the face of adversity, the band – made up of Rotherham’s Jonny Yerrell, Joe O’Brien, Lee Holland and Jamie Todd – have bigger things on the horizon. Festivals across the length and breadth of Europe bookend a huge 20,000 capacity headline show at Rotherham’s Clifton Park. The biggest event the town has ever seen, the ‘I was there’ spectacle was a sell-out on Saturday 6 July 2024 and celebrated everything the self-propelled, main stage favourites have achieved to date.
