Nestled into the backstreets of Gold City, you’ll find The Nighthawk Cinema. No one knows how long this place has been here, but you can always expect big laughs, big thrills and big family fun with wall to wall blockbusters all day, every day.

Perched above the Main Arena, The Watchtower is Y Not’s biggest bar and ultimate meeting point. Grab a pint, pull up a bench, and take in the best views of the Main Stage while the party rolls from midday to midnight.

You can’t miss it. Standing proudly in the heart of the Main Arena, The Y Not Sign is the iconic centrepiece of the festival and the backdrop to countless memories, reunions, and photos across the weekend.
Whether you’re meeting your mates, snapping the obligatory festival picture, or simply taking a moment to soak it all in, every path seems to lead back here. Make sure to stop by, strike a pose, and leave your mark on Y Not history.
We’re excited to announce the very first official Y Not Fun Run. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking to start your Saturday with some fresh air and good company, we’d love you to join us.
The route takes in some of the beautiful countryside surrounding the festival, including sections of the historic High Peak Trail and stunning views across the Derbyshire landscape, with panoramic views at the historical Minninglow neolithic burial site.
This isn’t a race. It’s a chance to meet fellow Y Notters, shake off the previous night’s antics, and start the day feeling refreshed before another packed day of music.

Please arrive from 9:00am for registration and a short warm-up session.
The run will begin at approximately 9:30am.
Please complete the registration form in advance so we can safely manage numbers and ensure everyone receives the relevant information before the event.
By registering for and participating in the Y Not Fun Run 2026, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
You’ll also find a dedicated activities area in the Family Campsite, making it easy to keep little festival-goers entertained all weekend long.
From dodgems and twisters to the Ferris wheel and Helter Skelter, the Y Not fairground is packed with classic rides for thrill-seekers of all ages.
Take a spin, chase the adrenaline, some of the best views of the festival can be found from the top.
Y Not’s favourite pub is back — and it’s had a serious glow-up.
The Hog & Barrel returns for 2026 with a fresh new look and the introduction of The Pit, giving festival-goers even more reasons to make this their local for the weekend.
Pull up a chair, grab a pint, and settle in for good beer, great company, and a proper festival knees-up. Alongside the usual Hog & Barrel atmosphere, expect pub quizzes, Irish dancing, live entertainment, and yes… a hog roast.
