Volunteers are the backbone of Y Not Festival and we would love to have your support this year!
Whether you have previous volunteer experience or not, we welcome those willing to lend a hand and make Y Not the festival we all know and love.
Our official charity partner, Child Bereavement UK are recruiting volunteers across all four days of the festival. Volunteers will give 4 hours of their time from 1st – 4th August to help scan entry tickets, sell charity wristbands and raffle tickets for the chance to win a meet & and greet with a one of our fantastic performers each day of the event. All funds raised will support the work of Child Bereavement UK, allowing them to support even more children, young people, parents and the wider family when a child grieves or when a child dies.
In return for volunteering, you will receive free entry to the festival on the day that you volunteer, plus parking and early general camping entry the day before and the day of your shift.
Volunteers are required to pay a refundable deposit of £25 per shift, which will be refunded within 2 weeks of the event, once all shift(s) have been completed.
Please create a volunteer account at: childbereavementuk.rosterfy.com/register
When you have created your account, click on ‘Festivals 2024’ and click to apply to volunteer at YNOT Festival, you can then select your preferred day and shift.
If you have any problems or you require further information, please email: volunteering@childbereavementuk.org.
To volunteer you must be 18 or older when you arrive on site and have the right to work in the UK. See this Government guidance for more details
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our festival. We couldn’t do it without you!
“We made some new friends, and met some very generous people, and had a lovely time (and it was also my first festival EVER!), but more importantly, we helped raise a lot of money for a very worthy cause.”
Jane, Festival Volunteer
