A special edition Faction to remember

On Sunday we teamed up with BBC Introducing to pull together a special edition Faction in aid of Blythe House Hospice.  What happened was a pretty dope Sunday afternoon of good music and good times.

If you’re a fan of good music and rising local talent, then we hope you were there. The intimate venue meant that the shows was one that will go down in the memory book. Packed with all you lovely lot, we’re very excited that we were able to sell out and raise money for a really amazing cause.

The afternoon kicked off with a set from Nottingham based Daisy Godfrey. Her Soul + Punk blend lulled us straight into the afternoon.

Then, when Rob Green lost his voice (get well soon Rob) the hero that is Cameron Sinclair Harris stepped in to fill his shoes. The Nottingham born talent released his 5 song debut on Band Camp earlier this year and he’s certainly one to watch.

Our friends Vega Bay then warmed up Superfood just right…their song ‘Drench’ was a particular highlight. By this point the venue was packed and it really is amazing to be able to support local artists and have them support us too.

Finally Superfood finished the day off perfectly. Taking a break from their supporting slot for Wolf Alice, they joined us to help raise money for Blythe House Hospice and it really was a show to remember. If you haven’t checked them out, Spotify them – you won’t regret it! “Where’s the bass amp” is a personal favourite.

First stop, Nottingham complete! Keep an eye out because we might be bringing the show to your town next.
