This year at Y Not Festival there’s more family entertainment than ever before with the Strawberry Fields area featuring a brand new Yellow Submarine venue, the Funky Forest Craft Tent, a dedicated Toddler Zone and Tween Area and much, much more.
The Yellow Submarine Stage features a Family Disco every night.

Every evening you can toast marshmallows around the camp fire and listen to stories.
Ever fancied being a clown? Or think your kid would make the perfect juggler. Our dedicated Circus Tent will be providing Circus Performances and Workshops ALL weekend.
Returning to the Xanadu Venue this year is crowd favourite the Trapeze, as well as the Arts & Craft Workshops, Circus Acts and more.
In The Toddler Zone, you’ll find plenty of multi-sensory toys, interactive games, fancy dress and more to keep your little ones entertained.
In the Tween Area there are two graffiti workshops each day.
Set inside a beautiful bell tent, the Library houses a cosy chill-out space filled with bean bags,throws and cushions. Books are available for children of all ages and all in tune with key stages set by the National Curriculum.
Our evening interactive storytelling sessions involve music, yoga and much more.
If you’re an early riser in the Family Campsite you’ll find story tellers to entertain you.
The Nighthawk Cinema in Gold City, will return will host kids films every morning.
Families can make music together with have-a-go musical instruments and loop stations in the Tween Zone.
To get you in the festival mood there’s a Wake & Shake session each morning in The Yellow Submarine.
During the day Rhubarb Theatre will be hosting a number of performances in The Yellow Submarine including Dig Dippers, 3 Suitcases, The Bookworms, The Good Knights
Roaming around the family areas are magicians, clowns, Gunpowder Gertie’s art cannon, puppet performance troupe the Mango Bandits and much more.
The Global Foolishness Pirate Show in promises interactive performances with pirates in The Yellow Submarine venue.
